Saks salons have raised £125,827 to aid The Eve Appeal’s essential research into the five women-only cancers of the cervix, ovaries, vagina, vulva and womb. This means the salon group are well on their way to their target of £250,000 for 2020.
Janet King, head of marketing at Saks UK, says: “We’re so nailing our fundraising. For Get Lippy we put the emphasis on shouting about the importance of getting your smear when it’s due and getting checked out if something seems wrong."

The salon group have blow-dried, baked, cycled, massaged, nail-painted, pants paraded, ran, raffled, sky-dived, spray-tanned, walked, waxed and zip-wired to raise money for this important cause.
Athena Lamnisos, CEO of
The Eve Appeal, says: “Target smashing Team Saks4Eve has done it again! Past the midway mark of reaching a fundraising target that will help us save women’s lives through raising awareness and funding world-class research.”
