Saks hair and beauty experts head up india training trip

Saks creative director, Alison Dace, and head of beauty, Kirsty Jewson, recently spent a week in India training the team at Saks Mumbai. The programme saw the dynamic duo provide all-important training updates to hair and beauty staff in Saks salons in Bandra and Andheri, Mumbai. Alison taught the Simply Saks course and also showcased the latest creative collection, Desire, to demonstrate six sought-after Brit looks. Meanwhile, Kirsty spent time assessing beauty therapists and providing sessions in skin consultation and waxing techniques. The duo will continue to support their colleagues in India through ongoing education and regular Skype Q&A sessions. Alison says: "Our Saks India teams are extremely creative; they work to a high standard and are very receptive to learning = plus they have the best attitude and work ethic. "The salons really do have the wow factor for me and they’re in glamorous locations in Mumbai – watch this space for salon number three coming soon. I can’t wait to come back!”
