Saks awards 2013: winners announced

The Saks Awards 2013 have taken place, honouring the best of the salon group's in-house talent. As the UK's biggest hair and beauty salon group gets set to celebrate 40 years of Saks in 2014, it was first time to take a look back at the achievements of the last twelve months. The Saks Awards 2013 celebrate both creative and business successes, with a photographic competition as well as achievement awards. Each winner at the awards has won a place on the four-day annual franchise conference, which this year takes place in Lisbon, Portugal in March. Stephen Kee, managing mirector, says: "We were overwhelmed by the quality of the entries from our salons for the 2013 Awards. We had a really tough time selecting winners and lots of categories were extremely close. "We’re thrilled to give our winners the opportunity to join our annual franchisee conference in Portugal this year. In our 40th year we’ve got so much to celebrate, and it’s great to give our salon staff – and potential franchisees of the future – the chance to experience this special event."
