Sad farewell to terry

Talented, inspirational, creative, passionate, determined, fun and cheeky are just some of the words I would use to describe the late Terry Calvert, a man who never failed to smile - and make others smile with him.

A huge personality, he combined creative talent with a natural flair for business and an infectious sense of humour that meant he was an absolute pleasure to be around. He always spoke with immense love of his wife Lindsay and four children, and whilst the industry has lost an icon, they have lost a husband, father and role model.

Hugely passionate about hairdressing, Terry had integrity, charm and a talent for creating images with sassy, beautifully finished hair and it was these attributes that saw him enter the British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame for his three regional wins.

My love and thoughts are with Lindsay, Georgina, Harriette, Scarlet Rose and Tyler as they prepare to say goodbye.
