Rush oscars recognise talent throughout the group
It was a night of glamour for 1000 hairdressers at the Rush Oscars.
The event was held at the Piccadily Theatre - usually home to West End show Grease. But there was no grease in sight at the group's annual awards, just plenty of excited hairdressers.
Creative director Stelios Andrew and chairman Andrew Phouli hosted the first part of the night, and each gave a passionate speech to inspire the 1000-strong crowd.
Before the night's winners were announced, the audience were treated to a demonstration by the Rush Workshop Team, who created various hair looks, with disconnection and accentuated colour.
Next the award-winning Rush artistic team showcased nine models in three back-to-back catwalk shows, featuring soft, ergonomic shapes enhanced by soft blondes, deep coppers and ruby reds.
Artistic team members Andrew Heasman and Dimitri Loizi hosted the award section of the evening, which covered every aspect of the business from front of house through to the top salon manager.
