Rush host inspirational evening
The Time collection, incorporates two key looks - Classical Deconstruction and Misdirection - both of which follow the trade mark Rush 'look' and integrate their signature cutting and colouring techniques.
While creating the collection's cutting-edge, street styles, International Artistic Director Andrew Heasman explained the importance of following the rules and understanding the foundations of hair before learning to disconnect haircuts and breaking those rules.
International Colour Director Chris Williams talked through the exciting tones used to work with the texture and movement of the cuts and stressed the importance of cut and colour complementing each other.
He said: "It is always exciting for me to colour one of Andy's cuts and vice versa, these looks are so dynamic and full of movement it is like putting your signature on a piece of modern art."
Other members of the Artistic team including Rush Advanced Academy Manager Paola Fattorusso, Hall of Fame member Tina Farey also demontstrated looks from the collection that all placed an emphasis on the Rush philosophy of 'Strength through Movement'.
Tina, along with fellow Artistic team member Sam Burnett, urged the audience to step out of their comfort zones and experiment with new looks and techniques.
They stressed the importance of sharing ideas within the team and drawing inspiration from a variety of sources to release creativity.
The evening concluded with a fantastic catwalk show, with all 10 beautifully coiffed models strutting their styles before the awestruck audience.
