THE INSPIRATION
Getting caught in the rain. "

The overall aesthetic of Rory’s designs has a gothic feel, with both matte and shiny fabric," explains Gary. "I wanted to create two textures and finishes to complement these contrasts. The idea was to have a matte area on the top, sides and back, with the long hair in the front to be shiny & wet looking around the face.

"We liked the idea of the look of having a hat on after a whole day and leaving the hair flattened to the head with an indentation all the way around, whilst the front is soaking wet. We recreated a version of this look for the catwalk."
GET THE LOOK
1. Freshly wash hair using SP Men Refresh Shampoo and condition using SP Smoothen Conditioner. 2. Soak the hair all over with Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz, then blast dry whilst keeping the roots flat. 3. Spray plenty of SP Men Invisible Control Hairspray all over the hair and blast dry again, to help create a matte, fluffy texture. 4. Put a hair net over the head tightly where a hat would sit to really squash the hair. Respray with SP Men Invisible Control Hairspray on top of the net. 5. Dry all over the head with a hot dryer and diffuser, to spread the heat and set. 6. Once dry, carefully peel off the net. Spray the front of the hair with SP Sublime Reflection and then finish with a vaporised water spray to add to the 'soaked in the rain' look.
