Revlon professional® introduces its visionaries 2022 team

Earlier this year, finalists gathered at the Revlon Professional® Academy, Leeds for the announcement of who had made the final cut and won a place in the Revlon Professional Visionaries 2022 team. The year-long mentorship programme, directed by Revlon’s Global Ambassador, multi-award winning Mark Leeson, gives budding stylists the chance to supercharge their skill set through a series of salon, session and editorial opportunities.

Judges from the Revlon Professional portfolio included Danilo Giangreco, Karoliina Saunders, Terri Kaye and Richard Darby. In the end, a total of four stylists were chosen. Click through the gallery to see the four Visionaries.

Commenting on the quality of the contenders, Richard Darby at Mark Leeson said, “The competition was so difficult to judge that we made an exception this year and awarded five places as opposed to four.”

Already up and running, the four Visionaries have so far been treated to a two-day colour and cutting course at Revlon’s’ Academy in Leeds. “This day was a great opportunity to check out everyone’s’ skillset and I was blown away by their expertise, knowledge of colour and confidence,” remarked Mark.

A photoshoot followed to cement their ‘PR branding’ with photographer Paul Gill, then next up was a social media course followed by a two-day cutting exploration. The team will also enjoy opportunities such as editorial shoots and producing their own photographic collection.

Mark commented: “It’s all part of the package. We have promised these guys an incredible year and that is what we are about to bring them. Creative skills are all very good but you also need confidence. The Revlon Visionaries programme has been designed to elevate the profile of these five talents within the industry and we know we’ll deliver it.”
