Stylists and VIP guests gathered for the second annual Remi Cachet Summer Ball 2022 to celebrate their work and successes in the field of hair extensions.
The Remi Cachet Summer Ball awards ceremony 2022, returned to the prestigious Redworth Hall for the night and saw the return of Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby as the host to announce the awards and winners.
“Only in our second year, we have grown the event to add more awards and open to more stylists – not just our Super Stylists – to be able to thank them for their support to our brand and recognise the work they create. Getting everyone together is really special and something I know the Super Stylists look forward to as their annual get together. We are already planning next year’s celebration, which will be even bigger, as we have a special anniversary to mark,” said Victoria Lynch, founder of Remi Cachet.
Take a look at who won the awards on the night.

WINNER: Alex Ferris - Hair Extensions by Alex Ferris, Bradford @alexfhairextensions, and Mark Lyon-Taylor, MLT Extensions, Southport @mlthairextensionsRecycler of the Year
Based on the total amount of hair returned for the Hair Recycling scheme WINNER: Lucy Pearson, Lucy’s Hair Extensions, Halifax @lucyshairextensions Lucy shared: “To be in a room full of such inspirational and talented individuals from across our industry was really such an honour. To find out that we were up for an award was the best feeling, let alone winning! We work closely with hair loss, so the recycling of our used hair is really important to us as a business. When Remi Cachet teamed up with Little Lady Locks children’s hair loss charity earlier this year, I knew that by recycling our used hair we could help make a difference to these little girls’ lives. To win such a special award that is close to my heart really makes me feel so proud and grateful.”Image of the Year
Super Stylists entered their favourite image of the year and were judged externally by industry experts Louise Bailey of Extension Professional, and Inanch Emir of Inanch London and Gold Class Hair. With before, during and after images, the judges scored on application as well as the finished look in terms of colour, blend, style and overall finish. WINNER: Joanne Fox - Hair by Jo, Durham @jofoxhair
Joanne said: “I was so surprised and ecstatic to win this award. The talent in that room was massive. All the Super Stylists produce such amazing work and hair extensions that I definitely didn’t expect it and am completely over the moon.”
Discussing the winning image, she said: “For me, this combines everything I love about extensions. My client asked for length, thickness and talked about adding colour. I suggested using a mixed rooted extension to create a beautiful subtle colour change without touching her hair with bleach. I created complete transformation using my ultimate favourite fitting method, Flat Tips customised into full and half bonds, to perfectly match the hair density and blend the different tones with full discretion.”
