Reed krakoff spring/summer 2015: get the hair look

Kevin Ryan and the Unite team created a sleek and chic - but light-hearted - look for the Reed Krakoff Spring/Summer 2015 show. The show: Reed Krakoff Spring/Summer 2015 The hair team: Kevin Ryan for Unite The look: A knotted ponytail, bound with blua leather. The inspiration: "This is a sleek, chic woman on the run," says Kevin. "It's an easy, yet sophisticated style that hints to a less serious take on life." The key product: Moroccanoil Heat Styling Protection Get the Look 1. Spray UNITE Expanda Volume root lift on to dry hair. 2. Blow-dry in, keeping the hair smooth and sleek to the head. 3. Once dry, lightly back-comb the roots throughout the crown area. Work in the same direction to ensure that all of the hair falls in the same direction without separation. 4. Gather all of the hair at the base of the neck and pull into a ponytail with an elastic band. On the last loop of the elastic, do not pull the hair all the way through. Make sure the ends are left out of the elastic and pointing in an upward, but uniform direction. 5. Wrap a piece of cobalt leather around the ponytail, concealing the elastic band, and tie off using a double knot. Leave about 1-2" of leather on each side of the knot. 6. Set the look by spraying UNITE Session Max Hairspray lightly over the whole head. 7. Finish the look by spreading a few drops of UNITE Shina Gloss Liquid Gloss Drops over your hands and pressing into the slicked back part of the hair for extra shine.
