Just before Hollywood celebrated its blockbusters at the Oscars, the world of independent cinema was recognised at the annual Annual Film Independent Spirit Awards.
And although the ceremony is held to praise talent outside of Hollywood blockbusters, it still attracted an A-list crowd.
Oscar nominees Nicole Kidman and Natalie Portman both kept things casual at the beachfront award ceremony, where the dresscode tends to be a lot more relaxed than the black-tie formality of the Oscars.
Both stars kept things casual with lots of texture, and sideswept styles with a slightly unfinished feel.
Both Kerry Washington and Eva Mendes stuck to the effortless look too, topping off their red carpet frocks with textured lengths.
I love Kerry's new fringe, and the shattered layers and funky styling of this cut add up to a really youthful feel. Eva's also changed things up with a few highlights sprinkled through her lengths.
Jennifer always looks fab, but I think Zoe pips her here, with her loosely tonged lengths simply oozing star quality.
