Reach for new heights up sky-high hair

OK, Jedward might be irritating and make you want to set fire to the magazine/throw the TV out of the window, but there's no getting away from the fact that, heaven forbid, they are actually one of this year's biggest trendsetters. They bounced onto our screens with OTT quiffs - and it looks like the style is here to stay.

Models at the Amanda Wakeley and Issa Autumn/Winter added inches with sky high quiffs that were sprayed and smoothed into place.

Now, it seems hairdressers have embaced the look too - Shane Henning won Australia Hairdresser of the Year with his smooth creation, while Dan Spiller from Marc Antoni has created a textured version which is less androgynous but softer and more feminine.
