The Rainbow Room International Congress returned to the luxurious Airth Castle for 2014 to celebrate another successful year for the salon group.
Staff from all twelve hair and beauty salons descended on the hotel and spa for a day of inspirational challenges, motivational presentations and the annual achievement awards.
The day started with a team-building exercise which saw salon teams tasked with creating a coat of arms that represented their salon's location andd achievements. Next it was time for the Rainbow Room International artistic team to present new season trends for both male and female clients in cut, colour and styling.
Rainbow Room founder Alan Stewart then took to the stage to introduce Schwarzkopf Professional's international creative director Simon Ellis and global ambassador Tyler Johnston. The two discussed the brand's plans for the coming year as well as showcasing looks from the Essential Looks collection and providing an insight into how they create the looks.
In the evening it was time for the salon awards, marking achievements in both creative and business categories. Looking back on another successful year, Alan said: "It's a wonderful event and really builds team spirit and gets everyone motivated for the year ahead. Each year the standard gets higher and our judges find it more and more difficult to call. We recognise not only winners but those who are continuously improving as we believe each individual member of our team is special and deserves their own particular recognition of success."
