Pz cussons to acquire fudge from sabre group

PZ Cussons is set to acquire Fudge from the Sabre Group, it has been announced.


The leading consumer products group announced on 5 January that contracts had been exchanged for the acquisition of the brand through its beauty division from the Sabre Group.


The brand and the associated inventory are being acquired for a consideration of £25.5m, with completion expected by the end of January.


In an official statement, chief executive of PZ Cussons Beauty, Michelle Feeney said: "We are delighted to be acquiring such a young, vibrant brand and I am very excited about its prospects and untapped potential. Fudge is a natural fit with our portfolio as we continue to bring well-loved brands back to the forefront and make beauty accessible to all."
