Purple hair tutorial: get the look with trevor sorbie

This colourful look has been one of the most-liked images we've ever shared on Instagram - and now you can learn how to copy it with our purple hair tutorial from Chloe Tulett, Petros Mairoudhiou and Anna Chapman at Trevor Sorbie. 1. Tint the hair with an intense violet ash blonde. 2. Prelighten individual curls blended to 2" from the roots in a brickwork pattern throughout the head. Space at 2" sections from nape to recession area on the hairline, and 1" sections from recession hairline to the crown. 3. Tone with light violet toner with added violet mix tone until the desired shade is achieved. Leave to process and rinse. 4. Apply a volume mouse to damp hair, blow-dry then root tong with a small barrel and set in a brickwork technique. 5. Once cooled shake out the curls with fingers. Use a light serum on the ends for added shine and spray to hold.
