Pureology announce neil moodie as first uki ambassador Pureology are delighted to introduce Neil Moodie as the brand’s first UKI Ambassador, joining the team to develop cutting-edge hair trends and champion the brand's professional colour care and sustainability-conscious values. With over three decades of session, editorial and celebrity styling experience, Neil Moodie is internationally renowned as a creative leader in the fashion and beauty community. Celebrated in the industry for his innovation in hair trends, Moodie’s work spans across fashion campaigns with the likes of Dior, Karl Lagerfield and Paul & Joe, a celebrity roster including Gemma Chan, Jodie Comer, Kate Hudson, Felicity Jones and Sam Smith, and an expansive portfolio of editorial work boasting 50+ international Vogue covers. Neil is not only known for developing emerging trends and his haircare expertise for clients beyond the salon chair; his dedication to sustainability places him at the forefront of the industry. With an eco-conscious namesake salon in combination with Pureology’s values, his vision will inspire stylists and salons to prioritise sustainability in all aspects of the business. Following the announcement, Neil shared: “I’m thrilled to join Pureology’s team of passionate and consciously-minded stylists. When I work with clients on set or in my studio, using high-performing products that protect their hair colour is essential, but ensuring we use a range that supports my values and conscious business approach is equally as important. Reducing the collective carbon footprint of the hair industry is a passion of mine… from the products we use to the energy we consume, every choice we make in the salon has an impact on the environment. “Together with Pureology’s vegan formulas and efforts to provide a more sustainable approach to professional haircare, I’m looking forward to teaching a more conscious approach for the next generation of salon services.”

The Studio

Neil Moodie Studio opened its doors in Spitalfields in 2022 as an aspirational destination, where their clients experience the same fusion of VIP-treatment and trend-led editorial styling that Neil is celebrated for. Developed with a conscious approach that Neil deems crucial for positive change within the hair industry, the Neil Moodie Studio offers gender neutral services delivered by an expert team skilled in caring for all hair types. The studio design has sustainability at its heart, with measures to operate with an eco-friendly approach at every touchpoint; from partnering with Green Salon Collective and a Virgin Pure Water supply, to the installation of Eco Head taps, as well as a sustainable energy provider. Further measures include the use of compostable hair towels, a local bicycle collection for laundry servicing, and a ban on single-use plastics from water bottles to stylist gloves. Drawing on Neil's extensive career, the salon has fast become a go-to beauty and grooming destination for Londoners and beyond, offering incredible hair cutting and colouring, serviced as consciously as possible – and clients will be encouraged to keep up the good work at home using Pureology products carried in reusable tote bags. Reflecting on Neil’s appointment, Sussan Verghese, Pureology Brand General Manager, said: “Neil is one of the most prominent and well-respected session artists in the industry, and we’re delighted to announce his new role as Pureology’s first UKI Ambassador. His expertise in haircare, styling talent and eco-conscious approach to his flagship salon puts him at the forefront of the UK industry, and make him a powerful voice to champion Pureology’s sustainability values. “Recycling, offsetting and finding measures to function as sustainably as possible have been carefully selected at his new salon space. Together with Pureology’s professional colour care, we hope to amplify Neil Moodie Studio as a space for positive change and support his vision for a destination where hair trends emerge.”
