SpaRitual is a range of vegan-friendly, spa-based, products and treatments for holistic manicure, pedicure and body care. 2 SOUNDS A BIT ENVIRONMENTAL... The line uses eco-friendly packaging and printing processes. The packaging is made from re-usable glass and other recyclable materials, along with soy-based inks. All the nail lacquers are free of DBP (dibutyl phthalate – a potential developmental and reproductive toxin that, according to the company, may cause a broad range of birth defects and is banned for use in cosmetic products in the European Union). 3 DOES THE LACK OF DBP AFFECT PERFORMANCE? Apparently not. The replacement – a safe and effective plasticising agent – is said to offer dazzling shine, lasting wearability, and efficient dry-time. 4 VEGAN INGREDIENTS? The products contain naturally coloured vegan ingredients, including organic plant extracts, and unlike many companies which use fish scales to achieve nail lacquer’s shimmer, SpaRitual uses mica – tiny, reflective minerals. The vegan ingredients are sourced with awareness from around the world and the formulations are naturally coloured with annatto, turmeric and beetroot. 5 CARRY ON... Infused with specially sourced and selected plant essences, each product has a subtle fragrance and therapeutic benefits that balance a specific chakra. Whenever possible, organic or wildcrafted essential oils are used. Wildcrafted plants are carefully harvested from their natural habitat to ensure the remaining crop will thrive, while organic plants are grown without synthetic herbicides or pesticides. 6 TELL ME ABOUT THE RANGE Each of the aromatic fragrances offers specific therapeutic benefits, such as energising, soothing and nourishing. The collection comprises nail treatment products, eight multi-use products, and three bath salts – each designed to invigorate the body’s chakras. 7 AND...? Two of the key products are Look Inside 21 Mineral Bath Salts and Affirming Scrub Masque. The Look Inside 21 Mineral Bath Salts is a multi-purpose bath salt with wildcrafted Indian frankincense and Dead Sea salts. It is said to help to focus the mind and soothe the body and can be used alone, or with the Harmonising Soak Tonic. The Affirming Scrub masque with Wildcrafted Indonesian Ginger balances the solar plexus chakra. This scrub-and-mask in one gently exfoliates and refines the skin. Micro-algae smoothes rough areas and sloughs off dead skin cells, preparing the skin to receive the benefits of the ginger. 8 ANYTHING ELSE? As well as a collection of 12 Elixir nail treatment products, SpaRitual has designed a shimmering collection of 72 nail lacquers – hand- blended to achieve the depth, subtlety and intensity for vibrant, shining nails – divided into four palettes. They also feature a Plum Cap. 9 A PLUM CAP...? Created especially for SpaRitual, the elegant bottle is crafted in Italy from reusable glass and other natural elements. The design is said to “merge the mid-century design tradition with inspiration from the exotic East”. The patented plum cap and signature brush are designed for smooth control and a delicate finish. The ergonomically-styled cap is specially textured and rubberised for ease of opening and precision application. 10 WHAT ABOUT TREATMENTS? There are three mani/pedicure treatment rituals, along with seven dedicated nail rituals to choose from – including one for men.
