Pop punk icon hayley williams is opening her own salon Though most known for her role as the lead singer of the band Paramore, Hayley Williams also has a footing in the hair industry – in 2016 she launched the hair brand Good Dye Young with her long-time stylist and friend, Brian O’Connor. The venture was fitting for the singer, having spent years appearing on stage with vivid hair, including her signature florescent orange hue. Fast-forward six years, and Hayley and Brian are stepping up their commitment to the hair industry, by launching their own salon, Fruits Hair Lab, in Nashville – a location which is not far from where the two first met. Not much is known about the salon yet; it was first teased in a recent Vogue article, and its Instagram bio reads: “An inclusive safe space to express yourself through hair. We are a Green Circle + carbon neutral salon.” The name of the salon is likely a nod to the inspiration for Hayley’s iconic hair colour; in the same article, it is revealed that Brian crafted the flame hue “after becoming inspired by a Fruits magazine [Hayley] was carrying home after playing shows in Japan”. Hayley and Brian have both shared peeks of the space; it looks to have an open floor plan and a mezzanine balcony, along with white walls and flooring, and pops of colour. Sharing the photos, the singer-come-entrepreneur wrote: “This has been two years in the making for Brian and I. Cannot wait to welcome the curious and courageous into this space in a couple more weeks. We’re almost there! So much to say… more details later.” You can check out the post, along with Brian's, below. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj0zBUjJmUB/ https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj0vYzwOgx4/
