If you thought the My Little Pony Hair trend was over, think again. Day one of London Fashion Week's Spring/Summer 2014 shows saw a flurry of pink hair, with more predicted to come over the next few days.
At
Fyodor Golan and
Felder Felder, wash-out pink colour was used to enhance styles, creating a cool-girl quiff and mermaid-inspired lengths respectively.
Queen of colour, Alex Brownsell of Bleach, was the brains behind the look at Fyodor Golan, where gel-formula neon pink was painted on to quiffs using a tinting brush. Matched with bright pink lips and nails, Alex described it as, "a pink nosebleed."
Although
Bleach has just launched a range of at-home colour, this show was all about KMS California and it was their products that were used to get the look.

For
Felder Felder, Jonny Engstrom of Guy Kremer used the brand-new
L'Oreal Professionnel HairChalks in Coral Sunset (and Ocean Blue) to create a pastel dip-dyes on wet-look mermaid-inspired hair. Launching in November, there are five shades of chalk and the colour won't smudge, budge or transfer to white pillowcases - but it will wash out with one shampoo.
The
J JS Lee show might not have featured so much colour, but pastel pink hair-ties were used to contrast against dark hair and to match outfits perfectly - taking accessorising to a whole new level.
Label.m launched their new
Powder Pink Spray just in time for London Fashion Week and although we haven't yet seen them use it in a show, it seems certain that we'll see a colourful show or two from the TONI&GUY team. Likewise,
Bumble and bumble debuted spray-on pink and blue colours at the Ohne Titel show at New York Fashion Week; will one of their team introduce it in London?
A rosy outlook for Spring/Summer 2014? It certainly seems so at this stage.
