What's your favourite Salon International memory?

Seeing Anthony Mascolo on stage with a broom! A few years back he did a one-man show, which was fantastic and afterwards came on stage to sweep up the hair, telling the audience this is how it all began.

What do you get out of your Salon International visit?

The atmosphere created by all that inspiration in one hall is unbelievable - it really makes me feel proud to be a hairdresser. And I always pick up good quality products!

What will you be doing at this year's exhibition?

I think I will be a visitor this year - I enjoy wondering around and watching everything that is going on, unless I get nominated for British Hairdresser of the Year, then you will find me at the gallery checking out the competition!

Who are what inspires you most at the exhibition

The visitors; they make up an international audience and to see all the different hairstyles and cultures is interesting. The worldwide audience proves that British hairdressing is still number one!

What's your top tip for first time visitors?

Take a pack lunch! The queues for food are so long, and you need to keep up all your energy!

What's in your Salon International Survival Kit?

Water - lots of it, a digital camera, a secret supply of chocolate and an open mind.

What's your Salon International soundtrack?

Fratellis - Chelsea (to wake you up and get you prepared?

Coldplay - Clocks (when you need to take 5 minutes out to recharge)

Sum up Salon International in three words.
