Award winning hairdresser Paul Stafford brought an audience of more than 1,000 to their feet with his headline show at the AlfaParf Fantastic Hairdresser awards.
Fresh from his appearance at the prestigious Alternative Hair Show, Paul re-imagined the stunning stage show he presented at London’s Albert Hall in collaboration with specialist brush manufacturer Denman.
“It was a great honour to be invited by AlfaParf to put on a show for the Fantastic Hairdresser Awards,” said Paul, who worked with choreographer Fleur Mellor, stylist Jamie Russell and make-up artist Cat Coogan. “I hope our performance matched the passion and excitement that was evident in all the finalists’ work.”
The event, held in Dublin on 1 November, was an opportunity for hairdressers to show off their creativity and technical skills. Now in its sixth year, The Fantastic Hairdresser Awards are the culmination of months of hard work from hundreds of hairdressers across Ireland. Prizes were awarded across nine categories including the Alfaparf Inixia Photographic Award.
The sell-out show was fronted by stylist, designer and TV presenter Brendan Courtney, with awards presented by Alfaparf and the Fantastic Hairdresser Company founder, Alan Austin-Smith.
