Paul mitchell's tea tree products offset carbon emissions

Tea-Tree.jpgPaul Mitchell's Tea Tree brand has taken the 'hugging a tree' philosophy to a whole new level thanks to its partnership with American Forests, an international non-profit organisation.

The company uses money generated through sales of the Tea Tree brand to plant trees throughout enough trees throughout America and Europe to offset all carbon emissions from the manufacture and distribution of the brand.

An additional portion of revenue from Tea Tree product sales is injected into funding American Forests Global ReLeaf and WildLeaf programmes, which aim  to preserve natural resources on a global scale.

Paul Mitchell co-founder John Paul Dejoria says: ""We all have a responsibility in building a healthy environment. Not just to ensure our own future, but to ensure the future of generations to come."
