Off on the road with redken

At the moment I am busy preparing models and concepts for the Redken Connects Tour. It's going to be an educational seminar but I will be bringing catwalk trends to life too.

I'll be working with other artists on the tour so it's really important that our ideas complement each other, so we start by sitting down with the Redken marketing and events team and saying what we'd like to do and then they run with it.

Fortunately, you don't often have artistic disagreements over these sorts of things because we're all professional enought to know that it's a case of respecting each other and their ideas and working together as a team. You have to put your ego to the side or you have a problem.

Being on the road us really good fun, but pretty exhausting and, as is always the case with these types of things, it seems to all come at the same time.

It would be nice if things could be a bit more evenly spread out, but it doesn't really work like that!
