For the PRISCAVera AW18 show Aveda Global Creative Director Antoinette Beenders created a chic and naturally feminine style on all models. The look was inspired by the tactile fabrics in the collection. To create, Antoinette added shine to the hair by spraying Aveda Air Control Light Hold Hair Spray to the slicked-back front section of the models’ hair, then twisted the back into a “corset braid.” “For a fresh twist on a braid, begin by separating the front section of the hair and clipping it out of the way. Underneath, create two small ponytails, each tied off with an elastic. Release the clipped section, and wrap the two ponytails over the top, cross, and wrap back around. Continue wrapping and tie off with an elastic,” says Antoinette.
