Nobody does it better than face off

Well, I've finally recovered from American Crew UK's Face Off 2013 winners' party, where your's truly mingled with with more than 700 guests at Manchester venue The Point. We were all there to celebrate men's hairdressing, while enjoying a complimentary Asahi beer or two. The night also paid homage to the style of James Bond, for which I was suitably attired. (in a suit, not blue Speedos!)

The Bond theme was reflected in the catwalk show, which featured more than 50 male models in various Bond-inspired guises - including those infamous blue trunks. Obviously the focus was on the hair, which was the result of two days of hard work by the American Crew UK artistic team, led by Dominique Rohde.

From the 20 finalist, who all took to the stage to collect framed versions of their entries, five special awards were presented, including that for the overall winner of Face Off 2013 - which went to Miguel Gutierez from Melogy, London.
