Nioxin hosts first thinning expert conference

Nioxin stylists from across the UK recently gathered in Manchester for the first ever Thinning Expert Conference.
The conference was kicked off by host Jo Lloyd, a DJ for Real Radio who provided a personal insight into how Nioxin has helped her change the appearance of her thinning hair.
The Institute of Trichologists (IOT) played an integral part in the day as endorsers of Nioxin and partners of Thinning Hair Awareness Week in the UK. Marilyn Sherlock, chairwoman of the IOT, provided an expert overview of hair thinning and how patients can be treated for hair issues by the field of trichology. As a leading expert in the field.
The audience were then treated to a demonstration by Kay McIntyre, of McIntyres Salons, Dundee and education ambassador for Nioxin who showcased cuts and colours specifically suited to thinning hair, giving the audience tools and tips to take directly back into the salon.
Lastly, Dr. Steve Shiel, scientific director, P&G Beauty, presented an intriguing insight into the 'secret life of your hair', giving participants a deeper understanding of the science behind hair.
