NIOXIN has teamed up with Made in Chelsea cast member Olivia Bentley to spread awareness on the issue of thinning hair.
Liv has previously announced on the reality show that she wears a wig due to years of suffering from hair loss.
Since then the topic has become a talking point on social media. It's a tricky subject to broach but if you're wondering how to talk about hair loss with your clients, try reading our guide
here.
Liv will be talking candidly about her thinning hair and hair loss experience on her Instagram page over coming months and will be sharing her NIOXIN journey.
She says on her first Instagram video: “I had alopecia growing up. I first noticed it when I was 16 and I found a bald patch. I thought I must have pulled it out with a brush, then a few weeks later I found more hair had come out. I was embarrassed, and all I did was cover it up, which made it worse.”
She added: “The turning point was when I discussed it on Made in Chelsea. There are so many people who go through the exact same thing. My advice to anyone who has noticed their hair is thinning or that you have bald patches is to go to your doctor or your hairdresser and don’t ignore it."
NIOXIN’S range of care and styling products are designed specifically for thinning and fine hair. The brand is backed by more than 30 years of dedicated independent research.
It also has the support of the Institute of Trichologists – the foremost professional association for the study and science of hair in the world.
