The Spring/Summer 2014 catwalks are underway with all eyes on New York Fashion Week. It's not just the clothes that are under scrutiny, but the amazing hair and make-up looks created by talented backstage stars, who work tirelessly to help complete the designer's vision. Here are a few of the looks we love so far...
THE SHOW: Donna Karan
THE LOOK: 1970s disco queens were the inspiration for the make-up at Donna Karan, where MAC make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury created a glamorous, golden look with sculpted cheekbones and glossy lips.

THE SHOW: Victoria Beckham
THE LOOK: Clean, fresh make-up from Pat McGrath complements Guido Palau's low ponytails and black headbands. The key to this look is in expertly priming and prepping the skin, with just a subtle sweep of peach shadow to accentuate the eyes.
THE SHOW: Jason Wu
THE LOOK: Lancome make-up artist Diane Kendal made the eye the focal point of this look by pressing brown eyeshadow into the socket line for definition, before adding gold glitter on the lid and plenty of mascara.
THE SHOW: Helmut Lang
THE LOOK: The Helmut Lang models looked fresh and sporty, with a strong 90s vibe. Make-up artist Hannah Murray created a minimalist look with the skin and eyes, leaving a pretty cherry lip to do the talking.

THE SHOW: Rodarte
THE LOOK: The sleek, minimal lines of LA inspired NARS lead make-up artist James Kaliardos in creating this nonchalant look, with graphic black eyeliner and brushed up brows for cool impact.
THE SHOW: Badgley Mischka
THE LOOK: There was a doll-like feel to the make-up at Badgley Mischka, where Tom Pecheux swept a glossy aqua colour across the lids right up to the brows, finishing with pink lipstick.
THE SHOW: Marc by Marc Jacobs
THE LOOK: The was rebellion in the air at Marc by Marc Jacobs, with hair tucked into tight neck scarves and eyeshadow in a vivid electric blue. Make-up artist Dick Page certainly gets the 'I don't care' attitude right with this.
