Nick Irwin created sleek straight locks for the W118 by Walter Baker Spring/Summer 2013 show at New York Fashion Week.

Show: W118 by Walter Baker

Stylist: Nick Irwin for TIGI

The inspiration: A vibrant jet-setting woman, who is tech savvy, lives to socialise and is always on-trend. "To work with the collection, I kept the look simple, sleek and glossy with an exaggerated length," said Nick.

The look: Sleek, straight locks with a defined centre parting and extreme length.

Get the look: Beginning with a defined centre parting, prep the hair with Catwalk by TIGI Your Highness Weightless Shine Spray, combing through and evenly distributing throughout hair.

Next, section hair beginning at the nape of the neck and carefully blow dry to remove any frizz.

Spray each section with Catwalk by TIGI Sleek Mystique Haute Iron Spray and straighten with a TIGI Pro Flat Iron, using a comb to ensure heat is distributed evenly.

To finish and set the look, spray the length of the hair with Catwalk by TIGI Sleek Mystique Look-Lock Hairspray.
