Show: NAHM

Stylist: Jon Reyman for Aveda

The look: Jon Reyman was influenced by iconic fashion editor Diana Vreeland to create a style inspired by graceful yet powerful women.

Get the look: Hair was prepped with Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother and Volumizing Tonic, then blow-dried with a round brush.

Hair was then divided into six horizontal sections. Each was coated with Control Force Firm Hold Spray, then curled with a 1" iron and brushed out.

A triangle part was created at the hairline, from temples to the crown. A small section above each ear was also clipped aside. A horizontal part was made at the back of the head to separate the remaining hair into two equal sections.

Hair was unpinned from above the ears and secured in a low ponytail with the lower horizontal sections. The whole ponytail was then twisted and pinned into a roll at the nape. The remaining upper horizontal section was split in the centre to create a part down the back of the head. Each section was wrapped into the roll and pinned in place.

The top triangular section was released and smoothed over the entire look, pinning the ends underneath.
