New sustainability focused salon opens in plymouth

A new sustainability focused hair salon has just opened in Plymouth’s Royal William Yard. Yoke is located at 2 The New Cooperage, and is headed up by husband and wife team Jo Barker and Steven Dyer. The salon is exclusively working with haircare experts L’Oreal Professionnel, and the owners are hoping to bring some of the global brand’s expertise to the South West. Jo Barker, head colourist and salon partner said: “We have both worked in some of the UK’s very best salons, as well as spending two years living and working in Sydney, Australia. Many of the salons in Australia are way ahead of UK salons in terms of being more eco-friendly and sustainable, and we want to be amongst the first to bring this to the UK.” Yoke is open now for booking and offering new clients 15% off their first visit to the salon.
