Launching in February 2021,
Ready To Wear Hairdressing is a new trend-led platform and creative hub created by hairdresser Maria Kovacs and make-up artist Amy Barrington-Long.
With their combined passion for hair, fashion, make-up and education, Maria and Amy have a special insight into the world of professional hairdressing, having worked with many big names in the industry.
Their new venture sees them in a central London location where students will get an insight into the world of session styling and makeup, as well as learning how a photo session is organized from casting to completion.

With their experience in hairdressing education, fashion shows, editorial shoots and hair collections, Maria and Amy have pooled their ideas to develop bespoke, conceptual, trend-based courses giving an exceptional insight into the evolution of new trends.
The Ready To Wear Hairdressing platform uses the principle of ‘look and learn’ sessions, with small groups of students to ensure maximum personal attention. Being mindful of today’s world, education will also be available on a 1-1 basis and via Zoom sessions.
“We take the mystery out of hair and fashion and make it ready to wear,” says Maria. “And we believe in being ‘down to earth’, but at the same time, aesthetically we’re ‘up there’.
“We’re about being user friendly. We share key high fashion knowledge, but break it down so stylists can translate the ideas into the real lives of their clients.”
Maria and Amy are excited to share and inspire a new generation of artistic hairdressers, helping them progress their knowledge and skills, giving them ideas, information and techniques to use both in the salon and in their own creative work.
