National hairdressers' federation incredibles competition back for 2015

The National Hairdressers' Federation Incredibles competition is back for 2015, giving NHF London region salons the chance to celebrate their young talent. Now in its second year, the competition provides first and second year learners, as well as young stylists, with the chance to develop their creative hairdressing and presentation skills. There are three categories: Newcomer for year one learners; Future Generations for second and third year learners and Young Hairdresser for qualified young stylists. To enter, you just need to submit a mood board or model photo, depending on the category - you can find the full details here. Newcomer and Future Generation finalists will get the opportunity to spend a day with industry experts Jerome Hillion and Darren Bain learning new ideas and being inspired. Young Hairdresser finalists will be offered the opportunity to take part in a day-long photo shoot with Jerome and a professional photographer. All finalists will also receive a certificate. NHF London and Home Counties President Mikaela Martin says: "This is an exciting opportunity for NHF members and their younger team members. All three of the Incredibles events are about inspiring your salon's future generations, by giving them a chance to meet like-minded people, of their own age, who are striving to become top of their profession.
