My salon's grand opening

Sadly Imissed out on wolfing Easter Eggs as I was too stressed about my salon openingon Easter Saturday!  I was interviewed on BBC Radio Somerset at 8am, then whizzedback to get the salon ready before Gok and the guests arrived.  

 

Gok got there at 1pm and had a glass of champagne with my team who were allreally excited about the launch, then we did a live interview with BBC RadioBristol on Emma Britton's show.  Then it was more interviews and morechampagne!  We had interested neighbours dodging the showers to come outand see Gok and he popped out to sign autographs and meet people.  

 

The family and friends all arrived at 4pm, which was really lovely as they haveall been so supportive of me throughout the launch, especially my girlfriendMegan Zarrabi who has had to put up with me stressing for months!  ErrolDouglas MBE, my boss at Errol Douglas in Knightsbridge turned up with his modelgirlfriend Kimberley Thurman and had a nice chat with my nanna.

 

After that we hit the town....well, we hit Bridgwater anyway with Gok, friendsand family.  Gok had never been to Somerset so my plan was to show him thesights, but it all ended with a riotous singsong in the beer garden of a localpub.  Anyone that follows Gok on Twitter will have seen the riotousgoings-on!  

 

But now the real work starts, getting the business to grow, building up ourprofile across Somerset and Bristol and making it a destination salon. There'snot much time as in between working at Errol Douglas and Jamie Stevens inWoolavington I am also filming Gok's Fashion Fix - it never ends!  The next step is to get my website up and running, so watch thisspace...
