Mizani afro look award - live final

On Wednesday 8 May the four talented 2013 Mizani Afro Look Award finalists took their fashion-led skills in afro hair to the live competition floor inside the renowned L'OréaL Professionnel Academy, London for a chance to win a prestigious L'Oréal Colour Trophy Award.
From more than 900 entries, just four teams were chosen to compete in the live final - Jason Liddiard Hairdressing in Rainham, Kent; Toni & Guy Chiswick; Jimmy Campbell, Fulham, London and Cutting Room Creative, Leeds.
The 2013 judging panel consisted of the cream of the afro hairdressing industry including finalist in HJ's 2012 British Hairdressing Awards' Afro Hairdresser of the Year category Charlotte Mensah, and previous winners of this award Junior Green and Michelle Thompson, alongside renowned session and celebrity hair stylist Eugene Davis.
The winner will be announced as part of the glamorous L'Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final Awards on Monday 3rd June.
