Milan fashion week spring/summer 2014: ports 1961 Ports 1961 Spring/Summer 2014 - hair by Eugene Souleiman for Wella Professionals Eugene Souleiman created pristine partings for the Ports 1961 Spring/Summer 2014 show at London Fashion Week. Show: Ports 1961 Stylist: Eugene Souleiman for Wella Professionals The inspiration: Urban artisans. "When I first saw the collection, the clothes were so perfect that they reminded me of illustrations, as if they had been drawn on paper," said Eugene. "This gave me the idea of creating a hair look that echoed this feeling; not one single hair out of place, yet at the same time with points of interest. The look: A slick, laminate-look gloss strip at the front of the head with a matte, textured section in the middle, returning to a glossy sleek bun at the back. "This chic hair look has an element of severity, yet at the same time there is a hint of craft to it, it's like 'tailoring' for hair," added Eugene. [gallery ids="23575,23574,23573"] Get the look: Start with freshly washed and conditioned hair, using Wella Professionals Enrich Shampoo and Conditioner. Spray hair with Perfect Setting Blow Dry Lotion  and blow dry, keeping the hair flat and straight. Once dry, run straightening irons through the hair to create a perfectly smooth finish. Next, create a low side parting and another parting from ear to ear across the crown, clipping the front section out of the way. Pull the back section in to a ponytail positioned low at the middle of the back of the head. Spray with Stay Styled Hairspray and brush with a soft bristle brush to keep the hair flat and in place. Tie off, maintaining tension so that the ponytail doesn't sag. Next, unclip the front section of the hair and, again using a soft bristle brush, brush hair flat down to the head, spraying with Stay Styled Hairspray to keep in place and add hold. Brush the front section flat and low behind the ear and then tie the longer section in to the ponytail. Squeeze some Sculpt Force Gel in to a bowl and use a tinting brush to paint gel on to the front strip of the hair, bringing the gel down to meet the ponytail at the back of the head following the direction of the hair – make sure the strip is only about 10cm wide, to create a contrasting texture. Spray the ponytail with water to create a damp, malleable texture, then add SP Luxe Oil Keratin Boost Essence.  Twist the ponytail into a bun and pin into place. Paint the bun with more gel to create a gloss effect, mirroring the front strip Key Products: Wella Professionals Enrich Shampoo and Conditioner, Perfect Setting Blow Dry Lotion , Stay Styled Finishing Spray, Sculpt Force Gel, Shimmer Delight Shine Spray, SP Luxe Oil Keratin Boost Essence
