Michelle thornley wins autumn snapshot competition

Well done to Michelle Thornley from Short n Curly's Uxbridge, winner of the Autumn Snapshot Competition.It was a tough job for Goldwell who were swamped with high-quality entries but Michelle's ethereal yet glamorous shot wowed the judges and pipped the others to the post.

Michelle was delighted to win and told us the story behind her winning snap.

"My picture is one of many created on a photo shoot course, I was lucky enough to be sent on at the Tigi Academy in London.

"The team were amazing and helped me achieve the look I was after as well as giving me the confidence to do my best," says Michelle.

"My inspiration for this comes from my love of big, bouncy natural looking hair. A big thanks to the owner of the salon where I work, Alf from Short n Curly's in Uxbridge who has been the first to believe in me and Kerri for actually entering me!! "

Both Goldwell and the team at HJi were impressed with the bang-on-trend shot which perfectly illustrates big, beautiful hair with a nod to nature.
