Metric measures

In a world where imperial is old hat and metric measures are the way to go, hairdressing seems to be the one industry that has passed it by. While the rest of the UK refer to cm and metres, hair is still seen in inches and salon interiors in sq ft. Or is it? We write regular step by steps and refer to cm sections rather than inches and interiors in sq m rather than sq ft. But does this mean anything to you -- let us know which one you prefer.
