BB-Coccoon.jpgRenowned for their session and editorial work, the BROOKS+BROOKS show at the L'Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy promised to be a theatrical delight - and the artistic team didn't disappoint.

Entitled 'Metamorphosis', the show saw beauty combined with structured elements for a spectacle that left the audience gasping for more.

Section one took the Metamorphosis theme literally as it created coccoon-like shapes that were piled on the head. A dishevelled unfinished feeling was complemented by futuristic silver mesh dresses that signifed that a transformation that was about to happen.BB-tea-party.jpg

Then it was time to get playful. Monochrome magic was brought to life with their interpretation of the Madhatters tea party, with Lady Gaga as the special guest.

While an oversized chignon and an eye-catching combination of black and white spheres were the show stealers, other looks were kept simple to complement the hats and clown-like lips that accessorised the section.

BB-curls.jpgBig, bold and voluminous, the final focus was on shape as Jamie and Sally Brooks and their team used soft candy floss curls, sky-high horns and dishevelled pompadours for a whimsical feel.

"We are honoured to be involved with the show this year and will be creating breathtaking and beautiful hair in a simple and feminine form," said Jamie and Sally.
