Men's hairdressing at salon international 2017

The presence of men’s hairdressing and barbering at Salon International has never been so strong as in 2017.

After the success of last year, the dedicated HJ Men stage will return with a stellar line-up of talent, including Kevin Luchmun, Chris Foster, Menspire and HJ’s reigning Barber of the Year, Ky Wilson.

There will also be a host of specialist barbering brands in a dedicated area around the HJ Men Stage, including barbering furniture specialist Retro Jack, British sourced and made men’s grooming brand Morgans Pomade, and barbering product and accessory specialist Dapper Dan.

You’ll also find exhibitors offering barbering and men’s grooming brands across the show floor, including Wahl, Andis, Denman International, Bluebeards revenge and OSMO, to name but a few.

Also bringing barbering brilliance to Salon International will be the HJ Competitions – HJ Barber of the Year and HJ Men’s Afro Stylist of the Year, both sponsored by Andis.

Both are open to any stylist qualified to NVQ level 2 or above or with a minimum of five years’ experience,

Finalists chosen from the photographic round will be invited to recreate their look in a live final at Salon International on Sunday 15 October.
