Men's snapshot competition: winner announced!

Our recent men's snapshot competition in association with Andis had an enormous amount of fantastic entries, and now after some tough judging from our judge, top barber MK, we are pleased to announce the winner and runner-up.

The standard of entry was really high this year, and MK agrees commenting: "There were a lot of good cuts in this competition and took a while to choose. Congrats to all those who entered as it all helps to push the barbering industry forward; for this I thank you all."

First prize goes to user modsalons for this 'Man About Town image. Here's what MK had to say:

I have chosen this shot as the winner as I feel this holds the new type of men's styling that is current; mixing the barbering techniques with hairdressing. The model chosen is suited to the style and the look and feel of the shot is men's smart trendy fashion.

The first generous prize bundle from Andis is worth over £400 and contains a huge range of equipment as well Denman products and a DVD showcasing some of MK's fantastic work.

The runner-up prize goes to user desperatedan for this short, 50s-inspired crop. Dan will receive prizes worth over £275 including equipment, accessories and an MK DVD.
