On Monday 14 October, HJ announced the winners of the 2024 SNAP! Awards live at Salon International, held at ExCeL London.
SNAP! was created to give all hairdressers of any skill level, anywhere in the world, the opportunity to showcase their talent through one picture. The rules? The image had to be shot on a phone with a plain background and entries were strictly #nofilter and no editing.
This year, there were six categories including Barbering, Bridal, Colour sponsored by Moroccanoil, Commercial sponsored by COLOR.ME KEVIN MURPHY, Creative sponsored by Olivia Garden, and Texture.

What’s The SNAP! Prize?
The winner of each category were presented with a glittering trophy, will be featured in Hairdressers Journal International, will have the opportunity to perform on the HJ Academy Stage at Salon International 2025, and receive a complimentary ticket to the British Hairdressing Awards 2024 to celebrate at the biggest night in British hairdressing.
