Award-winning hairdresser Mark Leeson recently hosted an intimate seminar at the Goldwell Acamdey in Mayfair, London.
The 'Evening with' even was attended by 80 salon owners and hairdressers who wanted to gain an insight into how Mark creates his photographic imagery, as well as how he runs his hugely successful business.
Mark treated the audience to six new looks which interpreted Spring/Summer 2012 trends with the help of Goldwell's new Nectaya colour.
Colours included pastel strawberry blonde, ice-cream blonde with an asymmetric slice of lilac, multi-tonal copper and espresso brown a flash of fuchsia pink.
Demonstrating how catwalk looks can be adapted into commercial styles, Mark also created texture and waves as well a strong, graphic futuristic cut.
"It's really important to look at the trends that are emerging and to be aware of what's happening in fashion," said Mark.
"However, never be afraid to adapt and tone down the look to suit. Ultimately, great hair is all about suitability and clients want to feel that the cut and colour you have delivered was created just for them. It's the personalised finish that makes clients loyal and trust you."
