Manchester hairdressers meet to share creative passion

Ever since opening his own independent salon business, withDilan in Manchester, Dilan Malalgoda has dreamt of bringing together like-minded, creative hairdressers from across the city to share their ideas and inspirations. Recently this dream was realised, with an event celebrating the talent and vison of hairdressers from independent salons in and around Manchester. The Manchester Art Team, as the group of hairdressers has dubbed itself, met in the basement of the Whiskey Jar Bar in the famous Northern Quarter with their models, and showcased their creative skills. The night also saw input from make-up artists, musicians and DJs, pooling their eclectic talent and sharing new ideas. Commented Dilan: “Friends of the artists also attended creating a very warm, busy social atmosphere. This event was a great success and people parted, saying they were looking forward to the next one.
