Mahogany take 'opulence' on the road
The Mahogany creative team took to the stage at the gorgeous Belfry Hotel in Sutton Coldfield and the Raddison Blu Hotel in Glasgow to showcase the incredibly indulgent ‘Opulence collection’ in association with Schwarzkopf Professional. [hji-gallery-legacy] Colin Greaney, Neil Atkinson and Tai Walker demonstrated how the stunning ‘Opulence’ collection looks are achieved. The audience enjoyed an inspirational evening of dance, fashion, music, creative colour and unique cuts. The Mahogany team inspired hairdressers to push colouring boundaries and introduce new cutting techniques within their salon.
Expressing their love for precision cutting, Colin Greaney and Neil Atkinson discussed how to work with different shapes and hair types as well as the creative journey that hairdressers take - from visualising the haircut to knowing where to start and where to finish. Colour genius Tai Walker then took to the stage for a masterclass in colour placement and definition. An incredible array of colours shone on stage as Tai expressed his love for the Schwarzkopf Professional colours and the new innovative Fibreplex. Mahogany’s ‘Opulence’ collection is inspired by the luxury of the jewellery houses on London’s Mayfair’s Bond Street. With Bond Street as its muse, this beautiful collection oozes timeless elegance and beauty but with a modern twist and a flash of colour. Bold, beautiful colour placement throughout the hair complements the simplicity and splendour of the jewellery in the collection, ensuring the statement styles speak for themselves. Stephen McDowell, Head of Education and Events at Schwarzkopf Professional says, “We are thrilled to be associated with the Mahogany team and it’s fantastic to see their incredible work on stage. Their hairdressing skills and techniques never fail to amaze and form a natural partnership with Schwarzkopf Professional. It was a great to see the Mahogany team encourage and inspire hairdressers to take risks and push themselves to create their vision.” Widget_HJ
