Kenna and the ghd Team created a fusion of textures, from wet to dry, for the Lucas Nascimento Spring/Summer 2015 show.
The show: Lucas Nascimento Spring/Summer 2015
The hair team: Kenna and the ghd team
The look: A sleek, wet-look hairline cascading down the back in a loose, dry wave.
The inspiration: A fusion of textures, adapted to each model to match their face shape and act as a continuation of cheekbone and brows, creating one continuous movement.
The key product: ghd curve classic curl tong
Get the Look
1. Start by applying ghd style straight and smooth spray to dry hair to create a healthy, high-sheen gloss.
2. Next, working in sections, apply ghd style total volume foam to the roots, starting at the base of head and working upwards.
3. Use a ghd tail comb to guide the hair flat to the head, from the hair line to the ends.
4. To personalize the look, use a ghd detangling comb and a ghd oval dressing brush to sculpt the hair around the face as a continuation of the brow line, scooping around the ears and edging hair towards the back of the head.
5. To fix this wet look in place, use the ghd aura hairdryer to set the foam, then spray with ghd style final fix hairspray.
6. Next, working in sections, wrap the hair flat around the ghd curve classic curl tong to create long, narrow, curls.
7. To allow the movement to remain in the mid-length section of the hair, do not wrap the end 2-3 inches of the hair around the ghd curve classic curl tong, letting the
ends drop off straight.
8. To finish the look, brush out the waves with the ghd detangling comb.
