L'oréal uk & ireland donates over 500,000 hygiene products to frontline staff

L'Oréal UK & Ireland donates 400,000 hygiene products to frontline staff as well as 100,000 hand sanitisers to the NHS in an ongoing bid to support the fight against the coronavirus. The group and its family of brands, which include L'Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Redken, Matrix and Biolage is hoping to use this initiative to serve the most vulnerable people and those striving to curb the pandemic. L'Oréal UK & Ireland is working in partnership with In Kind Direct and Blue Light Card to provide 400,000 body wash, hand creams, conditioner, shampoo and skin care products to hospital workers in the UK and Ireland. The company is also donating 100,000 hand sanitisers to support the NHS and HSE, 10,000 examination gloves to the London Ambulance Service through the L'Oréal Young Scientist Centre at the Royal Institute. Plus, frontline retail staff are receiving 300,000 free hand sanitisers to help ensure essential goods and services reach communities who need them throughout the UK and Ireland. The company is supporting small businesses such as hair salons by freezing payments of the most vulnerable, which includes very small and small-sized customers within its distribution network until businesses reopen. Plus, L'Oréal UK & Ireland has shortened its payment times for small suppliers who have been most exposed to the economic crisis. The L'Oréal Professional Products Division has also created coronavirus guides to help salon owners, hairdressers and freelance hairdressers with business tips and advice during lockdown.  Plus, the L'Oréal Professional Products Division has created a free schedule filled with expert-led digital content.
