L'oreal report offers insight into male clients

95% of men spend less than 30 minutes in the hairdressers chair

the number of men opting for colour or highlights in salons has increased by 50%

These are two of the findings of L'Oreal Professional Products' report, The Long and the Short of It, which shines the spotlight on the UK hairdressing industry. Other male client-related findings include that one in four men claim to have bought a bottle of shampoo from a salon in the past six months.

When it comes to colour, many men are still very private about it and opt for services that are quick and unfussy, or request appointments when the salon is normally closed!
