L'oréal professionnel unveils coronavirus salon and self-employed support guides L’Oréal Professionnel and the other brands within the L’Oréal Professional Products Division, which include Kérastase, Redken and Matrix have launched coronavirus support guides to help salon owners, employee hairdressers and freelance hairdressers with the financial and practical challenges they are facing during the coronavirus and current UK lockdown. The guides are available on the L’Oréal Professional Products Division online education platform called Access and the guides have been made publicly available for anyone within the professional hairdressing community. The guides can be found under the Grow Business section of the website once you've provided your details. The L’Oréal Professional Products Division's  aim is to keep the Coronavirus Support Guides updated with government measures as well as social media advice and resources such as the coronavirus help and advice on Hairdressers Journal International's website. L’Oréal Professional Products Division UK & Ireland’s managing director Béatrice Dautzenberg told HJ exclusively: “Our priority is the health and wellbeing of our salon and hairdressing partners, teams and customers across the UK and Ireland. We wanted to create a support guide that might be beneficial for both salons and freelance hairdressers during this difficult period." She added: "The guide offers advice that not only helps to outline government measures and how to access this support, but also includes advice on topics such as social media and how to stay connected with clients. We are listening to our partners and we are here to support our industry with total solidarity.”

What's included within the L'Oréal Professionnel Coronavirus Support Guides

The Salon Support Guide features a section specifically for salon owners with all of the measures that have been put in place to help small businesses as well as a section dedicated to helping employees with the options available to them. The guide includes other support ranging from housing and rent to loans and mortgages. The Self-Employed Guide features help and advice based on what the UK government has announced to date so far as well as social media tips ranging from how to address the current circumstances to creating engaging content as opposed to promotions.
