L'Oreal Professionnel teamed up with the Central Saint Martin's BA show with a team of hairdressers who worked with the fashion students on their collections.
The collaboration, now in its 17th year, recognises and promotes the way hair and fashion is historically linked and is a great way to combine up-and-coming fashion and hairdressing talent.
The team created three catwalk looks for the show: Curls & Bobs (the natural curls of the models styled to one side off the face), China Doll (the hair slicked up into 3 little knots worn along the forehead) and Greasy (the roots made greasy to contrast dry ends with with the hair in a low ponytail at the back)
Monica Teodoro, general manager of L'Oréal Professionnel said:
“Hairstyles and hair colour say as much about you as the clothes you wear, therefore it is not only tremendously exciting, but absolutely vital for L'Oréal Professionnel to forge a relationship with one of the most eminent fashion schools in the world. This ongoing partnership merges the very latest in fashion talent with the creativity of young hairdressers – a unique and inspired collaboration."
